1. User Account Creation and Profile Management
1.1. Account Creation: To utilize RealtorPin’s features, you must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date personal information, including your name, email address, and contact details.
1.2. Profile Completion: Upon creating an account, you are responsible for completing your profile with relevant information, including your real estate company affiliation, and a professional photo.
1.3. Profile Accuracy: You agree to maintain the accuracy and completeness of your profile, promptly updating any changes in your personal or professional information.
1.4 Profile Deletion: Users can delete their profiles anytime from the RealtorPin app. However, their data will remain accessible to us for 15 days. This allows users the option to rejoin and access their profiles if they wish. Nevertheless, if a user does not log in within 15 days after deleting their profile, their data will be permanently erased and will no longer be available to anyone.
2. Content Guidelines and Prohibited Content
2.1. Content Guidelines: RealtorPin fosters a professional and respectful environment. All content posted on the platform must adhere to the following guidelines:
- High-Quality Content: Share high-resolution photos and videos of your inventories, along with informative and engaging descriptions.
- Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and professional tone in all interactions, avoiding personal attacks, offensive statements, or discriminatory remarks.
- Accurate Information: Verify all information you post, including property details, pricing, and contact information.
- Respect for Intellectual Property: Do not post content that infringes on anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
2.2. Prohibited Content: RealtorPin strictly prohibits the following types of content:
- Illegal Content: Any content that violates local, national, or international laws.
- Hateful and Discriminatory Content: Any content that promotes hatred, racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination.
- False or Misleading Content: Any content that is factually inaccurate or intended to deceive or mislead users.
- Spam and Irrelevant Content: Any content that is promotional, unrelated to real estate, or deemed excessive or repetitive.
- Sexually Suggestive or Inappropriate Content: Any content that is sexually explicit, exploitative, or intended to harass or annoy other users.
- Threatening or Violent Content: Any content that promotes or encourages violence, self-harm, or harm to others.
- Personal or Identifying Information: Any content that discloses personal information about yourself or others, such as phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses.
3. Content Moderation and Reporting Mechanism
3.1. Content Moderation: RealtorPin employs a combination of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing techniques, and human moderation to proactively identify and remove objectionable content from the app.
3.2. User Reporting: We encourage users to report any content that violates our guidelines using the in-app reporting feature. We take all reports seriously and will promptly review them.
4. User Interactions and Community Conduct
4.1. User Interactions: RealtorPin facilitates interactions among users through various features, including following/unfollowing, liking/disliking posts, and sending direct messages.
4.2. Community Conduct: All users are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully in all interactions on RealtorPin. This includes avoiding personal attacks, harassment, and any form of cyberbullying.
4.3. Blocking and Reporting: Users can block other users who engage in abusive or harassing behaviour. Additionally, users can report any inappropriate interactions or content using the in-app reporting feature.
5. Inventory Management and Posting Guidelines
5.1. Inventory Listings: Realtors can create detailed listings for their properties, including accurate descriptions, high-resolution photos and videos, and pricing information.
5.2. Listing Accuracy: Realtors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their listings, and promptly updating any changes in property details or availability.
5.3. Posting Guidelines: Realtors must adhere to the following guidelines when posting inventory listings:
- Avoid excessive self-promotion or promotional language.
- Focus on providing accurate and informative property descriptions.
- Use high-quality images and videos to showcase the property.
- Comply with all applicable real estate advertising regulations.
6. Account Termination and Suspension
6.1. Account Termination: RealtorPin reserves the right to terminate any account that violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in behaviour that harms the community.
6.2. Account Suspension: RealtorPin may temporarily suspend accounts in cases of suspected violations or pending investigations.
6.3. Notice of Termination or Suspension: Users will receive prior notice of any account termination or suspension, along with the reason for such action.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1. Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you create and post on RealtorPin. However, by posting content, you grant RealtorPin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and translate the content in connection with RealtorPin’s services. You also agree that RealtorPin may use your name and likeness in connection with the promotion of its services.
7.2. Third-Party Content: You are responsible for ensuring that any content you post on RealtorPin does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes but is not limited to, copyright, trademark, and patent rights.
7.3. Removal of Infringing Content: If RealtorPin becomes aware that any content posted on its platform infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party, it may remove the content without notice.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RealtorPin, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of RealtorPin or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall RealtorPin, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of RealtorPin or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and RealtorPin with respect to your use of RealtorPin and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Amendments & Updates
RealtorPin may amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms and Conditions to stay informed of any changes. Your continued use of RealtorPin following the posting of amended or updated Terms and Conditions will be deemed your acceptance of such amendments.
